Helping couples navigate separation
amica is an online platform available in Australia to help couples to separate more amicably by guiding them step-by-step through complex separation and divorce processes. Eligible users can create an amica account, invite their ex-partner and then work together to create legally-binding separation and co-parenting agreements. I partnered with product designers, engineers, and family law experts to restructure website navigation, improve experience friction points, improve content readability, and reduced user drop-offs.

Legal content audit and optimisation
Audited core user journeys, including sign-up, onboarding and educational resource to find duplicated, confusing, and jargon-heavy content. I then rewrote that information, replacing dense legal language with clear, accessible plain English.

Designed an 'Is amica right for me?' self-assessment quiz and guided user journey to help users evaluate if the amica platform was right for their situation.
Information architecture design
Analysed heat maps and drop-off metrics to restructure the platform’s architecture, resulting in a clearer separation of educational resources from the core onboarding journey.
