The Starling Bank student account is a dedicated account for full-time university students, it comes with student perks and an interest-free overdraft. I partnered with product designers, managers, researchers, and subject matter experts to design and launch the full student account experience from application and account onboarding through to student verification and overdraft management.

Workshop facilitation and stakeholder management
Facilitated multiple workshops and review sessions with compliance, marketing and banking teams to capture their questions, requirements and feedback as we design and built the student account experience.
Content design and UI writing
Designed the end-to-end application, onboarding and student verification journeys. I also worked closely with banking and overdraft teams to make sure regulatory messaging was accurate while still being understandable to a younger audience.
Writing for young people
Adapted some of our boilerplate financial messages to work for a younger audience and collaborated with customer support teams to create support communications for students, such as text message templates, emails and help articles.
